Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 June 2026 · Appkrafterrz Software Solutions (OPC) Private Limited ("Appkrafterrz", "we", "us") · Kalvi360 ("the platform")
1. The service
Kalvi360 is a school management platform provided to schools and educational institutions ("customers") under a service agreement. These terms govern use of the platform by customers and by the users they invite (administrators, teachers, staff, students, and parents).
2. Accounts and responsibilities
- School administrators control who has access to their school's data and are responsible for keeping role assignments accurate and removing departed users.
- Users must keep their credentials confidential and must not share accounts.
- The school, as data fiduciary, is responsible for having a lawful basis (including parental consent where required) for the personal data it enters into the platform.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to store or transmit unlawful content, to attempt to access another school's or another user's data, to probe or disrupt the service, or to misuse AI features to generate harmful content. We may suspend access that threatens the security or integrity of the platform, and will inform the affected school.
4. Data ownership and privacy
The school owns its data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. On termination, the school may request an export of its data; after a hand-over period we delete it on the school's instruction.
5. AI features
Kalvi AI features generate content with a third-party AI model (see the Privacy Policy for the processor and data flow). AI output can be wrong: teachers must review AI-generated teaching material before using it, and AI study help for students is a learning aid, not an authoritative source. Student-facing AI requires parental consent and can be disabled by the school or revoked by the parent at any time.
6. Availability and support
We operate the platform with commercially reasonable care, take nightly off-site backups, and aim for high availability — but the service is provided as-is, without an uptime guarantee unless one is agreed in the school's service agreement. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the fees paid by the school in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, after a good-faith attempt to resolve them directly with us at hello@kalvi360.app.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are notified to school administrators before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
